tânisi, kitatamiskâtinâwâw. Darian âcikahtê (Agecoutay) nitisiyihkâson êkwa kâ-awâsis iskonikanihk nipê-ohcîn. Hello, I greet you all. My name is Darian Agecoutay and I come from the Cowessess reserve. I am of Cree, Saulteaux and Dakota descent and am currently an Indigenous Language Education graduate student at the University of Regina. I teach introductory nêhiyawêwin classes at the First Nations University of Canada, for different organizations within Regina and within my home community of Cowessess. I am happy to be able to teach nêhiyawêwin in an effort to revitalize the language in places where it is not spoken regularly. êkosi.
